For Leslie

Leslie Mae Ellis was one of my sisters.  She was an aspiring artist.  A few of us sisters got together recently and went through a mementos box to retrieve some of her artwork.  In honour of Les, I will be creating various items from those sketches and paintings, and offering them for sale on Guild of Sisters.  It feels weird to refer to her as "was" because it feels like she is still one of us...but "is" doesn't seem quite right either.  Les passed away in 1979 at the age of 18.
